GEORGETOWN -- If a party endures for 19 years and still continues to sell-out, it must be one hell of a party. And The Capital Club's annual Santa Soirée is indeed one of the holiday season's hottest tickets!

Hosted by arguably D.C.'s most recognized social club for young professional men (The Madison serves as a sister organization for young women), Saturday night's sold-out bash was a distinctly festive affair, with guests going all out in honoring the "holiday black tie" attire dress code.

With elf hats, battery-powered scarves made-up of Christmas lights, and plaid and bells galore, Georgetown was invaded by a sea of elegantly dressed revelers for an unforgettable evening of lively conversation, drinking, and dancing at the historic City Tavern Club.

Open bars had been strategically placed on virtually all floors of the building and guests had free reign over the venue's many sitting areas, fireplaces, ballrooms, and even a heated outdoor patio area.

The bulk of the action was concentrated on the ground floor, however, where Atlanta's premier funk, Motown, and soul band, The Answer, entertained the crowd from the start of the night until the very end.

Although many of the country's founding fathers might have frequented the City Tavern Club during colonial times, this weekend's festivities were historic for entirely different reasons!
