Tinsel & Togetherness Shine At DRT Strategies Annual Holiday Party

NORTHWEST -- Capping another banner year for the management and technology consulting company, DRT Strategies hosted its annual holiday party on the prized rooftop of the W Washington D.C. on Saturday night.

Cocktails and conversation overlooking the White House, kicked-off the blowout bash, which drew some 75 of the small business' employees from around the country. Guests then proceeded to dig into a gourmet mac-n-cheese bar, chicken and waffles buffet, and a sumptuous dessert spread that was catered by the award-winning hotel.

Founded in 2004 by Susan Kidd, DRT Strategies sought to apply business models found outside the traditional sphere of consulting to create a new kind of company that was more forward thinking than its competitors.

Headquartered in Arlington, but also boasting campuses in San Diego, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Charleston, the firm takes its name from the core philosophy of "Driving Resolution Together".

While such togetherness is normally masked in the day-to-day client collaborations that have won DRT numerous industry awards, on Saturday it manifested itself squarely on the dance floor. And it wasn't just freshly hired twentysomethings shaking it off to TSwift either, with Kidd herself happily bobbing and weaving to the DJ's beats for much of the night.

If happy employees beget ecstatic customers, after Saturday's holiday celebration, the company's clients are in for a very merry 2016.
