FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS -- In support of
Chantecaille's new line of fragrances that will be available exclusively at
Neiman Marcus stores for the fall season, sisters Olivia and Alex Chantecaille spent their Saturday talking with customers at the luxury retailer's
Mazza Gallerie location.
In addition to skincare, makeup, and fragrance product demonstrations, customers were treated to a goodie bag full of samples as well as the opportunity to ask questions directly of the creative director and director of sales of the eponymous skincare and beauty brand.
While their audience sipped on cold beverages (a classic muggy D.C. summer day was in full bloom this weekend) and nibbled the occasional pastry, Olivia and Alex discussed everything from their company's commitment to technological innovation to the purity of their products' ingredients and botanical focus.
Indeed, "giving back to the environment" (Olivia's words) is one of the company's underlying goals. With philanthropic initiatives in support of the preservation of dolphins and wild tigers, in addition to its work in the field of marine conservation, Chantecaille is not shy about highlighting its concerns (and more specifically the steps the company is taking to fight said concerns) about the environment to its customers.
