The Huxley Partners With Michael Andrews Bespoke For Tailor-Made Patron Appreciation Party

By Daniel Swartz on April 23, 2014
DUPONT CIRCLE -- The owners of The Huxley, Ryan Seelbach and Eric Lund, stepped beyond the customary red ropes that line the entrance to their popular hospitality club this past weekend, for a fashionable event extended as a thank you to its most loyal patrons.

Guests to the intimately organized soiree began with a complimentary bespoke shirt fitting at nearby Dupont clothier Michael Andrews Bespoke, supervised by the eponymous master tailor himself.

A caravan of black SUVs then ferried everyone to The Huxley afterward for a late night celebration inside the venue's 'Library' room, which saw bottles being popped well into the early morning hours.

The Huxley is, of course, coming off of a recent hospitality high after the luxe 4,600-squarefoot space took home the prestigious Best New Concept accolade, mere days ago, during this year's Nightclub & Bar Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

It was therefore only natural that Seelbach and Lund wanted to share their success with their customers, which was the genesis behind Friday's event.

And a more worthy partner than Andrews would have been hard to find, with the top-rated, now international bespoke shop having picked-up numerous critical honors ('Best Of' New York Magazine, Time Out New York, etc.) since it first opened in 2006.
