HuffPo/WHC Insider/Third Way Parade Party Packs Old Ebbitt w/ Inauguration Day VIPs

NORTHWEST -- A longtime favorite meeting spot for many of the District's powerbrokers, Old Ebbitt Grill made even more friends throughout Inauguration Day by providing a welcoming oasis from the cold, where guests could relax and watch the surrounding ceremony and parade.

Hosted by centrist public policy think tank Third Way, "behind the scenes" D.C. media outlet WHC Insider, and online news giant The Huffington Post, the packed celebration drew a diverse mix of Washington notables, journalists, and Hollywood celebrities.

Delaware Governor Jack Markell? He was there. As were White Collar star Matt Bomer, Californication star Evan Handler, and American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

Travis Kalanick, founder of private car service Uber, on which so many people relied upon to get around throughout the holiday weekend, also walked the red carpet. Superheroes too know a good party when they see one, with Wonder Woman's Lynda Carter milling about.

And guests were sure to take full advantage of Ebbitt's prime location along the parade route, with a row of reserved bleachers setup to ensure one of the best views of the country's newly sworn-in President as he made his way to the White House.
