Kelly Bensimon Makes A BAR Hot; Gilt City Book Signing Party Sells Out

WEST END -- An already warm Washington summer got even hotter on Wednesday evening, as model, former TV star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’, and author Kelly Bensimon welcomed fans to an exclusive book signing party at recently opened A BAR at Avenue Suites.

The stylish (and sold out) soiree was hosted by the D.C. team of luxe experience purveyor Gilt City, as part of one of its can’t miss summer offers.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton stopped by the after party to meet-up with friends.

For $39, ticketholders received the red carpet treatment during a private reception at the West End’s most recently opened nightspot.

Beyond the opportunity to mix and mingle with Bensimon in an intimate setting, guests were treated to two complimentary cocktails (like the ‘Perfect Accessory Punch’, ‘Real Cocktail of DC’ or ‘Bensojito’), a variety of gourmet passed bites, and a copy of Bensimon’s latest book titled I Can Make You Hot!.

"Everyone tonight stayed cool sipping specialty cocktails inside, and out on the bright patio,” said Marissa Schneider, Curator for Gilt City DC. “This event at A Bar at Avenue Suites is another example of the fun experiences Gilt City offers DC on a regular basis.”

And, as an added bonus, Washington’s own ‘Real Housewives’ – THE Artist Agency President Lynda Erkiletian and Labels for Love Founder Mary Amons – also stopped by to show their support and chat with fans of both shows.
