GEORGETOWN -- Washingtonians found themselves metaphorically walking the sleek runways of New York, Milan, London, and Paris on Tuesday evening, as The Fashion Group International of Greater Washington, D.C. hosted a special style presentation inside the Georgetown location of urban design retailer BoConcept.


Showcasing the Fall/Winter 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collections, the video production featured a compilation of apparel, accessories, beauty, color, and fabric trends for the upcoming season.



Award-winning Wall Street Journal fashion reporter Teri Agins served as the night’s guest of honor and shared her thoughts on various designers with audience members both before and after the feature presentation.


In addition to penning her own weekly fashion column, Agins is also a respected published author, with the New York Times calling her debut book “required reading for people who think they might like to be clothing designers.”


The Fashion Group International has showcased audio-visual presentations covering the seasonal fashion runway collections in the United States and in Europe since Ready-to-Wear shows began in the 1960s.
