The Guest List:
PENN QUARTER -- Washingtonians were able to channel their inner Boris and Natasha on Friday evening, as BrightestYoungThings held their latest sold-out party inside the spook-y walls of the International Spy Museum.

The first installment in a new series of ‘local tourist’ events from the slightly overexposed team over at BYT, this weekend’s bash boasted a playfully campy Russian spy theme complete with plenty of fake mustaches, fuzzy hats, and ridiculous accents.

In addition to the museum’s standard smorgasbord of gadget, weapon, vehicle, and spy-tech displays, guests were treated to a variety of passed bites courtesy of ZOLA restaurant, a Cold War photo shoot featuring guest appearances by both Kim Jong Il and Mini-Me (the late ‘Dear Leader’ was caught in some highly irreverent shots), and a neon-encapsulated dance floor pulsing to an all-‘80s soundtrack from DJs lil'e (Right Round) & DJ Smudge (TV Party).

Staying true to the venue’s ‘cat and mouse’ subject matter, a special ‘super secret spy’ scavenger hunt was also conducted with six envelopes hidden throughout the museum’s various nooks and crannies. Clues were tweeted throughout the event to help guide the curious and one lucky seeker (we’re talking to you envelope #2 holder) even walked away with a year’s supply of Honest Tea.

CIA? KGB? Pfft... BYT!
