Restaurant Week 2011: Menu Spotlight On SAX!

As part of our coverage of Washington Restaurant Week 2011, we will be spotlighting a different establishment each day for the next week or so.

Heirloom Tomato Salad w/ fennel, red & yellow peppers, marjoram, mustard vinaigrette, and walnut oil.

What? A self-described “purveyor of modern French small plates”, SAX is offering a modified version of its normal $85 prix fixe tasting menu for a scant $35.11 ($40.11 with “sparkling bottle” pairings). Guests can choose from three different options for each of the three different courses.

Yellowfin Tuna w/ peaches, fava beans, oranges, and saffron sauce.

Where? SAX is located at 734 Eleventh Street, NW. Reservations can be made online via OpenTable or by calling (202) 737-0101.

When? The Restaurant Week menu will be available from now until September 17th.
