The Guest List:
NORTHWEST -- Ambassadors mingled with Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters and United Nations officials at the W, Washington, D.C.’s rooftop terrace and lounge, P.O.V, on Wednesday night, for a fundraiser hosted by Ludus Athletics benefiting The Blue Key Campaign and USA for UNHCR.

26th United States Ambassador to the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzad.

A Miami club themed affair, last night’s party began on the hotel’s outside terrace overlooking the White House and Washington Monument and gradually spread out to also include the inside lounge, as night fell and the crowd grew larger.

Ludus Atheltics CEO Hamed Rahim Wardak, the son of the current Afghan Defense Minister, mingled about the crowd along with the evening’s other hosts, which included Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad and UFC champion Jon "Bones" Jones.

As dusk gave way to nightfall, models, all sporting the latest eco-conscious Ludus apparel, spread out across the windows of POV’s lounge, thereby injecting the already darkly alluring venue with a hint of titillating mystery.

Guests then proceeded to dance the night away to the house beats of DJ Jason Vernau (Set, Shore Club, Fontainebleau) and DJ Julian Ingrosso (Mynt Lounge).

The fundraiser was the second of 2011 for Ludus Athletics (the first was held in Los Angeles in January), which seeks to help some of the world’s 43 million some odd refugees.
