The second annual
Haunted Hunt Halloween celebration returned on Friday night to The Sphinx Club at Franklin Square.
Co-hosted by
Georgetown Events and
Smith Point, the packed late night party drew nearly 1,000 guests.
Ticketholders were treated to three live music performances, beginning with Maryland-based rock reggae band
Dale and the Z Dubs.
Washington's premiere '90s cover band
White Ford Bronco and New York City-based '80s tribute band
Rubix Kube then respectively took command of the venue's cavernous ballroom, which had been converted into a giant dance floor for the occasion.
While beer, wine, and cocktails flowed liberally from a series of open bars throughout the night, those revelers in search of a particularly scary morning after also had the opportunity to brave a dedicated whiskey bar that served nothing but
Fireball shots.
The end result was positively frightening.
